Dr. Peyman Raoofi
Dr. Peyman Raoofi holds a Doctorate and Master's degree in Clinical Psychology from Alliant International University and a BA in psychology from California State University, Northridge. He has many years of experience working with children and families of Iranian heritage. In addition Dr. Raoofi has worked as a social worker with elderly population at an Adult Day Health Care Center. Dr. Raoofi is currently serving on the Board of Iranian Psychological Association of America (IPAA), and Los Angeles County Psychological Association (LACPA), Profamily Group.
He is currently serving as the membership chair for United Nations Association-Pacific LA. He is a recipient of President’s Volunteer Service and UNICEF Honorary Ambassadorship. Dr. Raoofi has been interviewed on multiple TV shows including BBC Persian and Voice of America. He is a frequent writer on local magazines in Farsi and English. Dr. Raoofi has had multiple public lectures internationally on various psychological topics. UNICEF and Relief International are other organizations that Dr. Peyman Raoofi has been actively involved to help disadvantaged children on a global level.
