Man steals bus to pick up driver's license |

A Zimbabwe man stole a bus because he needed transport to pick up his driving license, state media reported Thursday.
The Herald newspaper said Stead Mashushire waited until the driver of a bus parked in a central Harare rank had gone to buy food before ordering all the passengers out and driving off in the vehicle. The driver and another motorists chased the bus and Mashushire was caught about 7 kilometers (four miles) away. He admitted in court to stealing the bus and said he needed transport to pick up his driver's license. The court ordered Mashushire to undergo a psychiatric test. He remains in custody until sentencing on August 29. |
